A conference for Joomla third party developers to learn about working with Joomla! 1.6, to meet members of the development team, and to discuss issues of importance to the developer community.
Third party developers are vital to the success of Joomla!. To be effective developing extensions they need up to date information about developments in the Joomla! core and how to work effectively and using best practices when extending it. With this in mind, the Joomla! Project is holding a conference for third party developers on Saturday and Sunday December 5 and 6 in New York City. The conference will include training targeted to experienced developers, information about Joomla! 1.6 and opportunities for networking with other developers and core developers.
Please note that this conference assumes that you already have good working knowledge of Joomla! extension development and the Joomla API. It is appropriate for extension development firms, custom Joomla application developers, and in house Joomla development specialists.
The event will run from 9am to 4 pm for both days. There are a limited number of hotel rooms available at the Hotel Marrakech 1-212-222-2954.
