Wilco was born in 1967 in the Netherlands where he still lives. After years of being a programmer Wilco has worked as project manager and IT manager. Discovered Joomla! when he was creating his own content management system, and never lost focus after then. Joined core team as development coordinator in September 2006 just helping to make Joomla! even better then it is already. Wilco is responsible for the overall organisation of Joomla! Development. Wilco has a bachelor degree in business and information engineering and studied knowledge and information engineering at the Middlesex University in London. |

He now spends his time as a Core Developer and member of the Sites & Infrastructure Team. Rob is a partner is WebImagery, a consulting firm specializing in web application development and security. He was brought to the world of Open Source Content Management Systems and Web Application Security by a love for technology and innovation. Rob's thirst for learning is currently satiated by studying Kung Fu. |

She currently freelances as a designer and photographer. Wendy's first exposure to Joomla! was in November 2005. She became active in the community shortly thereafter. She joined the Joomla! Forum Workgroup in 2006 and is currently a Forum Administrator on the Joomla! forums. |
Position: Treasurer Location: Nebraska Website: www.huelsmann.us In Dave Huelsmann's role as the Service Executive for The Pathology Center at Nebraska Methodist Hospital, he is responsible for overseeing gross revenues in excess of $66 million and over 146 FTE's, including 12 physicians, clinical laboratory scientists, and one PhD. Prior to this, Dave was the Executive Director of a commercial laboratory in New Hampshire, where he reported to and sat on the Management Board. He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Omaha Westside and served on this board for 6 years, during which time he developed and maintained their web site. He has also served as treasurer of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science in New Mexico. |
Position: Board Member Location: Söderlälje, Sweden Website: Living in Stockholm, Sweden, Lorenzo Garcia is the chairman of the Swedish Joomla! User Association, an independent entity supporting the Joomla! Project. Lorenzo started as a programmer before moving on to studying Marketing and Economics. This led him to starting his own E-commerce business. His love of equestrian sports has garnered him positions on the board of directors for several equestrian associations. He volunteers his time as a youth leader in recreation and also serves on the Joomla! Extensions Directory team. |

Position: President Location: NYC Website: www.manhattancountryschool.org In real life Elin (mcsmom ) is a professor of sociology at Herbert Lehman College of the City University of New York. She does research in the area of criminology and research methods and has written several books and numerous scholarly articles. She has her doctorate in sociology from Yale. She is also a member of the board of trustees of Manhattan Country School, an innovative independent school in New York City. Elin designed and managed the Manhattan Country School website for about ten years, converting it to Mambo in spring, 2005 and then to Joomla! at the time of the Mambo/Joomla! separation. In addition to the MCS website, she manages several other Joomla! web sites. Elin has contributed many FAQs to Joomla! written for the non-programming end user like herself. |

Position: Secretary Location: Washington DC Website: www.picnet.net Ryan (cozimek) is the CEO and founder of PICnet Inc, a Web development and innovations firm providing a variety of services for non-profit and public sector organizations worldwide. With client-bases in Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco, Ryan often finds himself travelling, but his current home base is in Washington DC where PICnet has its headquarters. Introduced to Mambo back in 2003 by one of his staff’s developers, Ryan quickly saw the great ability of the CMS to aid non-profit organizations. After writing two Slashdot stories on the creation of Joomla, Ryan quickly became more heavily involved in the Joomla community. He now manages the non-profit board on the Joomla forums, and frequently gives speeches in the non-profit community in the US related to the use of open source and Joomla within organizations, and created Joomla Tuesdays, a free gathering of Joomla users and developers across the US in the non-profit sector. Ryan has a B.A. in Communications from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Masters of Public Policy from UCLA as well. |

Position: Board Member Location New York City Website: www.softwarefreedom.org James Vasile holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the law review and a Stone Scholar. He also has a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Fordham University. He spent several years in the litigation department of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he worked on a range of cases and dealt with a variety of new media issues. Vasile has also contributed code and documentation to numerous FOSS software projects. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York. |
